1. Overview
WaterFocus (formerly Box Focus) is a local-first focus timer for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It does not require an account and does not operate a server for your focus content.
2. Information stored on your device
WaterFocus stores focus tags, sessions, pause intervals, route drawings and artworks, timer defaults, onboarding state, appearance choices, unlock progress, and notification preferences locally on your device. This information is used to run and restore timers, schedule local reminders, and display your history and statistics.
The app and its Live Activity extension use an Apple App Group to share only the current local timer state needed for Lock Screen, Dynamic Island, and App Intent controls.
3. Notifications and Live Activities
When you choose to enable reminders, WaterFocus requests notification permission and schedules focus or break completion notifications locally. On supported iPhones, a Live Activity can display timer and route progress on the Lock Screen or Dynamic Island. Notification content and focus data are not sent to a JustToday server.
4. Purchases
WaterFocus Pro offers monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions and a lifetime purchase. Apple processes payments. RevenueCat processes an anonymous app user identifier, device and system information, locale, product identifiers, purchase history or Apple receipt information, and entitlement status to load products, verify access, restore purchases, and diagnose purchase availability.
RevenueCat does not receive focus tags, route drawings, timer history, or artwork from WaterFocus. Purchase information is used for app functionality and purchase analytics, not for advertising or cross-app tracking. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy and Apple Privacy Policy.
5. Information we do not collect
WaterFocus does not collect advertising identifiers, precise location, contacts, photos, focus tags, route drawings, timer history, or artwork. The current app does not contain a third-party advertising SDK and does not use App Tracking Transparency for advertising tracking.
6. Retention, deletion, and your choices
Local data remains on your device until you delete it in WaterFocus, remove the app, or clear its data through the operating system. Clearing statistics deletes completed focus records while keeping your tags and settings. You can disable notifications in system settings and manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account. Apple and RevenueCat retain purchase records according to their own policies and legal obligations.

5. 我们不收集的信息
WaterFocus 不收集广告标识符、精确位置、通讯录、照片、专注标签、路线绘制、计时历史或作品。当前应用不包含第三方广告 SDK，也不会为了广告跟踪使用 App Tracking Transparency。
6. 保留、删除与选择
本地数据会保留在设备上，直至你在 WaterFocus 中删除、卸载应用，或通过操作系统清除应用数据。“清空统计”会删除已完成的专注记录，但保留标签和设置。你可以在系统设置中关闭通知，并通过 Apple 账号管理或取消订阅。Apple 与 RevenueCat 会依据其政策和法律义务保留购买记录。
